About The Lady

Linda King is the winemaker for RagApple Lassie Vineyards in Boonville, NC.  Over 35 years ago she embarked on an incredible journey that led her from wine novice to highly awarded professional winemaker and respected international wine judge.  On the way, she spent time as an award winning amateur winemaker, worked in a beer and wine supply store, established herself as a leader in the American Wine Society, became the winemaker for 3 different wineries in as many states, and, above all, developed a deep and abiding appreciation for the beauty, complexity, and joy of wine.  In this blog, she hopes to share her knowledge of and passion for wine and winemaking with anyone who has an interest in learning more.
